51 47 ... Removing and installing/replacing left or right underbody panelling

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Left side with independent heating version only: 

NOTE: The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side. If necessary, the vehicle must be set down on its wheel in the meantime as not all the connecting elements are immediately accessible.

Release clips/screws (1).

Press sill cover (1) and wheel arch trim (2) outwards and release screws (3) underneath.

Feed out underbody panelling (4) downwards.

Installation: 

Make sure underbody panelling (4) is correctly seated on wheel arch cover at front and rear.
