63 12 170 Removing and installing/replacing left or right high-beam headlight

Loosen screws (1).

Pull out high-beam headlight (2) and disconnect plug connection.

Installation:

Feed headlamp guide (2) into lug (1) of bumper.

If necessary, adjust high-beam headlights. Refer to 63 10 034 Adjusting high-beam headlight .

Replacement:

Turn halogen bulb for high-beam headlight (1) through approx. 45° in direction of arrow and pull out.

NOTE: Do not touch glass part of bulb with bare fingers. Only touch bulb on its base or with a clean cloth or packaging of light bulb.
