67 16 010 Removing And Installing/Replacing Left Headlight Vertical Aim Adjuster

Necessary preliminary tasks:

M62 only:

Release screws (1) and remove equipment carrier (2).

N62 only:

Release screws (1).

NOTE: Make sure cover caps (3) and (4) are firmly seated.

Lay equipment carrier (2) to one side.

Up to 10/2003:

Subsequent work is described in:

"Removing and installing/replacing left headlight vertical aim adjuster (xenon headlight)". Refer to 67 16 011 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT HEADLIGHT VERTICAL AIM ADJUSTER (XENON HEADLIGHT) .

From 10/2003:

Release screws (1) and remove cover (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Make sure seal of cover (2) is correctly seated.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release screws (3).

Feed headlight vertical aim adjuster (2) with ball head (4) in direction of arrow out of associated fixture and pull out.

Installation:

Make sure ball head (4) is correctly seated in associated fixture.
