34 41 220 Removing and installing / replacing all brake shoes of the parking brake
- Remove rear brake disk,
- refer to 34 21 320 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING BOTH REAR BRAKE DISKS .
- Installation:
- Adjust parking brake,
- refer to 34 41 006 ADJUSTING PARKING BRAKE .
Disconnect return springs with brake spring pliers.
Installation:
Check recoil springs and replace if necessary.
Twist clamping pins with special tool 34 4 000 through 90° and disconnect.
Remove brake shoes.
NOTE:
Figure illustrates right side: left side is mirror image of this.
Installation:
- Note installation position of adjusting screws (1) and (2).
Coat thread of bush (1) and screw (2) with grease.
