34 00 050 Bleeding brake system with DSC3 750i/il from 09/96 to 09/98: Notes

NOTE:

Note "General Information", refer to 34 00... GENERAL DATA
Observe following filling and bleeding specification when exchanging or repairing:
Tandem-brake master cylinder Boost piston unit DSC3 Hydraulic control unit DSC3
Components or connecting lines installed between these units.
For other operations on the brake system (e.g. exchanging brake calipers), observe specification "Bleeding ABS brake system", refer to 34 00 047 BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM WITH ABS .
For bleeding after working on pre-charging pump, refer to 34 51 550 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PRE-BOOST PUMP DSC3 .
After completing work, a final inspection must be carried out with the Diagnosis and Information System (DIS) under the menu item "Service function".

Connect BMW Diagnosis and Information System (DIS). Call up service function Bleeding ABS/DSC3 Hydraulics. Connect bleeding unit to expansion tank and switch on.

NOTE: Check relevant operating instructions for each device.
Charging pressure must not exceed 2 bar.
