Bracket With Spring Element Mount, Removing And Installing

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Pop Rivet Nut Pliers:VAS5072A 
• Drill
• Pop rivets. Refer to the Parts Information.

Removing 

-- Remove the bracket with spring element. Refer to BRACKET WITH SPRING ELEMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Drill out the rivet heads -arrows-, drive out the rivet shafts and remove any rivet remnants.

-- Remove the mount -1- for the bracket with spring element.

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

-- Rivet the mount with the rivets.

-- Push the bracket with spring element completely downward and tighten the bolt.

-- Adjust the spring element. Refer to HEIGHT, ADJUSTING USING SPRING ELEMENT .
