Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Engine -G82- , REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 2.9L ENGINE

Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required

Socket T30:T10405
Straight needle nose pliers, long version, commercially available
45° angled needle nose pliers, long version, commercially available

Procedure

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING / COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the engine cover and heat shield. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- , remove the coolant pipes from the turbochargers and push to the side.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- .

-- Free up the crankcase ventilation hose -2- and push the bracket -1- to the side.

-- Remove the bolt -1- .

-- Remove the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Engine -G82- and disconnect the connector -2- ; use needle nose pliers to do so.

Replace the O-rings after removing them.

-- Insert the engine coolant temperature sensor using needle nose pliers.

-- Install The Right Rear Large Coolant Pipe. Refer to COOLANT PIPES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the heat shield and engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Tightening Specifications
