SUBFRAME Mount, Adjusting

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Pry Lever:80-200 

Procedure 

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Variation: release the catch in direction of -arrow- and push the bleeder -1- upward.

-- Free up the wires -2- on the air filter housing bracket -1- using the :80-200  .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the bracket.

-- Support the engine in the installation position. Refer to ENGINE, SUPPORTING IN INSTALLATION POSITION .

-- Remove and replace the bolts -arrows- for the engine mount one after the other (if this was not already done when the engine was installed).

-- Install the bolts loosely.

-- Slide the engine/transmission assembly with an extractor lever until the following dimensions are set:

• The clearance between the engine support -2- and the engine mount -1- must be -a- = 10 mm.
• The casting edge on the engine support must be parallel to the engine mount support arm.
• Dimension -b- = dimension -b-.

-- Tighten the bolts on the engine mount.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- for the transmission mount -1- one after the other and replace them (if this was not already done when the engine was installed).

-- Install the bolts loosely.

-- Align the transmission with the transmission support without tension to the transmission mount.

-- Tighten the transmission mount bolts.

Further installation is performed in reverse order of removal, while noting the following:

-- Install the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
