Engine, Supporting In Installation Position

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Engine Support Bridge:10-222 A 
• Engine Support Bridge - Sub-Frame Adapter:10-222A/22 
• Engine Support - Basic Set:T40091 
• Engine Support - Supplement Kit:T40093A 

Procedure

-- Remove the left and right foam wedge -arrow- upward.

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If equipped, release the retainer in direction of -arrow- and remove the engine cover mount -1-.

-- Remove the seal from the plenum chamber bulkhead.

-- Position the :10-222A  on the right and left fender bolting edge and on the right longitudinal member as shown, to do so slightly lift the front plenum chamber cover.

-- Attach the :10-222A/11  to the left and right engine lifting eyes.

-- Slightly pretension the engine/transmission assembly with the spindle, do not lift.

Assembling

Assemble in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
