Center Console, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the center console insert. Refer to Removing .

-- Remove the front ashtray/storage compartment. Refer to Removing .

-- Remove the center console rear cover. Refer to Removing .

-- Remove the rear vent air duct. Refer to [For engine(s) CTUA,CEUC,CRDB,CGXB,CPNB] Air Conditioning .

-- Equipment levels with Telephone Baseplate -R126- : Disconnect the connectors and fee up the wiring.

-- Equipment level with External Audio Source Connection -R199- : Remove the External Audio Source Connection -R199-. Refer to INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM .

-- Vehicles with ambient lighting: Disconnect the connectors from the ambient lighting and free up the wiring.

-- Versions with a 12 V socket: Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and -3-.

-- Remove the nuts -1- from the center console bracket.

NOTE: Vehicles without a center armrest: Remove the 2 nuts.

-- Disconnect and free up the connectors and wires.

-- Lift the center console and remove it back out of the instrument panel and over the selector lever/shift lever.
