Reducing Agent Delivery Module, Removing And Installing: Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to OVERVIEW - REDUCING AGENT DELIVERY MODULE .

-- Install the heating reservoir -2- in the tank. Slide the heating element through the gap between the heating reservoir and installation opening into the tank.

-- Stretch the new sealing ring -1- over the heating reservoir and place it on the installation opening.

• The sealing ring must not be twisted on itself.

-- Bring the heating reservoir into the installation position:

• The connector for the reducing agent line -arrow A- must be flush with the installation markings (square depression) -arrow B- on the reducing agent tank.

-- Install the union nut -2- so that the marking -3- lines up at the beginning of the first thread -4-. The arrow marking -1- on the tank is found here.

-- First tighten the union unit by hand, then tighten it using the Key T40283 for a total of ⁵ /₄ turns (450°).

• The marking -3- on the union nut -2- must align with the marking -1- (the arrow lines up with the lines on the side).

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the reducing agent tank, refer to REDUCING AGENT TANK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Adapting adaptation value after draining reducing agent or replacing components, refer to SELECTIVE CATALYTIC REDUCTION- ADAPTATION VALUE, RESETTING .
