Sealing Flange, Belt Pulley Side, Removing And Installing: Installing
Tightening specifications:
- Refer to SEALING FLANGE - BELT PULLEY SIDE ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW .
- Refer to Figure.
- Refer to RIBBED BELT DRIVE ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW .
- Refer to OVERVIEW - OIL PAN/OIL PUMP, OIL PAN UPPER SECTION .
- Refer to OVERVIEW - OIL FILTER HOUSING/OIL PRESSURE SWITCH .
- Refer to COOLANT PUMP ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW .
Replace seal, the O-ring for the temperature regulator and the crankshaft seal.
Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory .
-- Clean any oil or grease off the sealing surfaces.
-- Tighten pulley side sealing flange bolts, refer to Figure.
The rest of the installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
-- Install the pulley-side crankshaft shaft seal, refer to CRANKSHAFT SEAL, REPLACING, BELT PULLEY SIDE .
-- Install the oil filter element, refer to ENGINE OIL, DRAINING/EXTRACTING; OIL FILTER, REPLACING .
-- Install front coolant pipe, refer to FRONT COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Install the ribbed belt tensioner, refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Install the exhaust gas recirculation cooler, refer to EGR COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Install the vibration damper, refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Install the torque support, refer to TORQUE SUPPORT AND CROSSMEMBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Fill with coolant, refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
