Sealing Flange - Belt Pulley Side Assembly Overview

Bolt
- Tightening specification and sequence, refer to Fig 2.
Shaft Seal
- For crankshaft - belt pulley side
- Replacing, refer to CRANKSHAFT SEAL, REPLACING, BELT PULLEY SIDE .
Thermostat
- For the engine oil cooler
- Removing and installing, refer to ENGINE OIL COOLER THERMOSTAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- Tightening specification and sequence, refer to Fig 2.
Cover
- For the temperature regulator for the engine oil cooler
- Removing and installing, refer to ENGINE OIL COOLER THERMOSTAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
O-Ring
- Replace
Sealing Flange
- Belt pulley side
  CAUTION:
  Different versions, allocate correct components .
  - The version of the seal (with our without metal carrier) is assigned to the version of the sealing flange.
  - Different versions with or without tensioner washer, refer to Figure.
- Removing and installing, refer to SEALING FLANGE, BELT PULLEY SIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
O-Ring
- Replace
Oil Temperature Sensor 2 -G664-
- Removing and installing, refer to Oil Temperature Sensor 2 -G664-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- Tightening specification: 9 Nm
Bracket
- For Oil Temperature Sensor 2 -G664-
O-Ring
- Replace
Cover
- For the belt pulley side sealing flange
- Removing and installing, refer to BELT PULLEY SIDE SEALING FLANGE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- Tightening specification: 9 Nm
Seal
CAUTION:
Different versions, allocate correct seal.
- The version of the seal (with our without metal carrier) is assigned to the version of the sealing flange.
- Replace
Alignment Pins
- Quantity: 2
Seal

-- Tighten the bolts in seven stages in the sequence shown.

Steps 1 to 3:

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification
1		Attach the sealing flange with the seal to the cylinder block
2	-1-	Tighten for the idler roller, refer to -item 6- Bolt
3	-2, 3, 4-	9 Nm

Steps 4 to 6:

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
4		Insert a temperature regulator for the engine oil cooler with the cover
5	-10-	Install all the way in by hand.
6	-1 to 19-	9 Nm
