Seat Forward/Back Adjustment Release Cable, Removing And Installing, RS Bucket Seat: Removing

-- Remove the seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, RS BUCKET SEAT .

-- Secure the seat on the Engine/Transmission Holder - Seat Repair FixtureVAS6136. Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Remove side trim on sill side. Refer to SIDE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the seat forward/back adjustment handle.

-- Press cable sleeve in direction of -arrow A- out of bracket.

-- Disengage the seat forward/back adjuster release cable -1- from the release lever -arrow B-.

-- Drill out the pop rivets -arrows- with a 4.0 mm drill and remove the relay socket and wiring harness retaining plate -1-.

-- Release the securing clip -4- on the release cable in the direction of -arrow A- and remove the clip upward -arrow B-.

-- Release the retaining spring -2- with a narrow screwdriver -3-.

-- Pull the seat rail release lever -1- up out of the wheel axis.

-- Remove the seat forward/back adjuster release cable.
