Front Seat, Removing And Installing, RS Bucket Seat
The RS sport seat has no side airbag. Therefore, the electrical connection for the side airbag must have a terminal resistance in the wiring harness.
- Front Seat
Removing
-- Disconnect the battery ground cable with the ignition turned on. Refer to Disconnecting .
-- Move the seat completely upward and to the rear.
-- Remove the bolts -3-.
-- Move the seat forward.
-- Remove the front belt end fitting FRONT BELT END FITTING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING and remove it out from the seat belt guide.
-- Remove the bolts -4-.
-- Tip front seat back.
-- Disconnect the connectors at the connector station in the floor panel. Refer to CONNECTORS, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
-- Remove the seat from the vehicle with a second technician.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
NOTE:Make sure the connectors are installed correctly and are secure.
-- Connect the connectors in the connector station. Refer to CONNECTORS, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
WARNING:Ignition must be on when connecting battery. If pyrotechnic components (for example, airbag, belt tensioner) are not repaired correctly, they may deploy unintentionally after connecting battery. There must not be anyone inside the vehicle when connecting the battery.
-- Connect the battery ground cable with the ignition turned on. Refer to Connecting .
-- Finally, check the DTC memory and erase the currently displayed entries. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
