Bowden cable for backrest lock, removing and installing

- Removing
- Remove seat → Seat, assembly overview .
- Attach fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 to engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
- Attach front seat to fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
- Remove backrest → Front seat backrest, assembly overview .
- Remove backrest cover panel → Backrest cover panel, removing and installing .
- Pry out staples - 10 - (4x) on left and right.
- Remove velcro strips - 9 - (4x) on left and right.
- Detach piping on side - 5 - (2x).
- Pry out piping at bottom - 8 - (3x).
- Use pliers to disengage tabs -7- (2x) at bottom left and right.
- Use screwdriver to pry Bowden cables out of mounts -6- (2x) on left and right.
- Remove Bowden cables -4- (2x) upward.
- Push cover - 11 - upward in direction of - arrow -.
- Detach Bowden cables at holders -1- and -2-.
- Installing
- Install Bowden cables for backrest lock in reverse order of removal.
- Set Bowden cables -4- (2x) with adjusters -3- (2x). Make sure pins at bottom left and right are released simultaneously on actuating easy-entry facility handle - 12 -.
