Input Shaft, Assembling

CAUTION:
Before assembly, check for wear on the transmission components. Refer to INPUT SHAFT, CHECKING FOR WEAR .
-- Replace the input shaft ball bearing. Refer to INPUT SHAFT BALL BEARING, REPLACING .
-- Adjust the input shaft and determine the air gap. Refer to INPUT SHAFT, ADJUSTING BY DETERMINING AIR GAP .
CAUTION:
- All old, used adjustment plates, outer clutch plates and lining plates must be replaced. They must not be reinstalled or else the input shaft function cannot be ensured (surface is worn).
- The corrugated spring washer must be reused.
-- Place the input shaft on the :T10219/1 .
-- Insert the determined lower adjustment plate -1- in the input shaft cylinder -A-.
-- Insert now alternating in the same direction per lining plate -2- and outer clutch plate -3-.
