Overview - Flywheel And Dual Clutch

- Flywheel
- There are different versions depending on the date of manufacture.
- Removing and installing. Refer to FLYWHEEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Clutch Cover
- There are different versions depending on the date of manufacture, with or without a thrust washer (refer to -item 7- Thrust Washer, see Fig 1)
- Removing and installing. Refer to FLYWHEEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING , and DUAL CLUTCH, INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- Tightening specification. 22 Nm + 90° additional turn .
- O-Ring
- Replace
- Dual Clutch
- There are different versions depending on the date of manufacture.
- Remove. Refer to DSG CLUTCH, REMOVING .
- Installing. Refer to DUAL CLUTCH, INSTALLING
.
- Always perform the necessary "Guided Functions " on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester after replacing the dual clutch. Refer to TRANSMISSION GUIDED FUNCTIONS .
- Transmission Housing
- Thrust Washer
- Depending on the date of manufacture, clutch cover allocation.
- Ball Bearing
- For the input shaft
- Replacing. Refer to INPUT SHAFT .
- Locking Ring
- For ball bearing
- Replace
- Locking Ring
- For the dual clutch
- Replace
- Shaft Seal
- For the input shaft
- Replacing. Refer to INPUT SHAFT SEAL, REPLACING .
- Bolt
- Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - FLYWHEEL AND DUAL CLUTCH - item 12- "Bolt" .
