Headlamp Housing Mount, Removing And Installing: Installing

- Tightening specification: Vehicles through MY 2011, USA through MY 2012: Refer to OVERVIEW - HEADLAMP HOUSING MOUNT ; Vehicles from MY 2012, USA from MY 2013: Refer to OVERVIEW - HEADLAMP HOUSING MOUNT .
Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following:
-- Insert the headlamp housing mount and install the bolts -arrows- and tighten by hand.
-- Install the headlamp housing:
- Halogen headlamps: Vehicles through MY 2011, USA through MY 2012: Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, HALOGEN HEADLAMP ; Vehicles from MY 2012, USA from MY 2013: Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, HALOGEN HEADLAMP .
- HID headlamps: Vehicles through MY 2011: Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, HID HEADLAMPS ; USA vehicles through MY 2012: Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, HID HEADLAMP ; Vehicles from MY 2012, USA from MY 2013: Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, HID HEADLAMP .
-- Loosen the bolt -7- for the bracket -6- several turns.
-- Align the headlamp gap dimensions according to the body contours.
- Gap dimension = even gap dimension.
-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- while aligning the flush to the outer edge of the fender.
-- Check gap dimensions again, repeat adjustment of gap dimensions if necessary, as described above.
-- Install the wheel housing liner. Refer to FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Adjust the headlamp. Refer to HEADLAMP, ADJUSTING .
