Transmission Input Speed Sensor -G182- And Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor -G509-

Removing 

CAUTION:

Risk of transmission damage.

  • Do not run engine or tow vehicle with oil pan removed or without transmission fluid.
NOTE:

General repair instructions, refer to REPAIR INFORMATION .

Observe cleanliness rules when working on transmissions, refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

-- Remove the ATF pan. Refer to OIL PAN .

-- Remove the Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) transmission Mechatronic -J743-. Refer to Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Transmission Mechatronic -J743- .

-- Remove bolt -B-.

-- Remove transmission input speed sensor and clutch oil temperature sensor item -A- together with the wire -C- from transmission.

Installing 

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Tightening specifications, refer to:

-- Coat transmission input speed sensor and clutch oil temperature sensor with gear oil.

-- Insert transmission input speed sensor and clutch oil temperature sensor in side opening on transmission and tighten. Refer to Figure.

-- Install DSG transmission Mechatronic. Refer to Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Transmission Mechatronic -J743- .

-- Install the oil pan. Refer to OIL PAN .

-- Fill transmission with oil. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID, REPLACING OR FILLING AFTER REPAIR and check oil level TRANSMISSION FLUID, REPLACING OR FILLING AFTER REPAIR .

-- Perform a basic setting using the vehicle diagnostic tester.
