1. Nut
   • 480 Nm
   • Replace
2. Bevel Box Output Flange
3. Output Flange Cover Cap
   • Replace if damaged
4. Shaft Seal
   • For output flange bevel box
   • Removing and Installing, refer to BEVEL BOX DRIVE FLANGE SEAL 
5. Seal on Bevel Box
   • Between the bevel box and transmission
   • Removing and Installing, refer to SEAL BETWEEN TRANSMISSION AND BEVEL BOX 
6. Bevel Box
   • Removing and Installing:
     • Vehicles with 2.0L TFSI engine, refer to BEVEL BOX
     • Vehicles with 3.2L MPI engine, refer to BEVEL BOX
7. Oil Drain Plug
   • 60 Nm
   • For bevel box
8. Shaft Seal
   • For the right flange shaft on the outside of the bevel box
   • Removing and installing, refer to RIGHT FLANGE SHAFT SEAT ON OUTER BEVEL BOX, REPLACING 
9. Drain Plug
   • 15 Nm
   • Replace
   • For bevel box oil filler hole
10. Bolt
    • 40 Nm plus an additional 45° additional
    • Replace
    • Bevel box to transmission
    • Quantity: 4
11. Ventilation Tube
12. Ventilation Cap
13. Bolt
    • 30 Nm
    • Replace
14. Right Flange Shaft
    • Removing and Installing, refer to RIGHT FLANGE SHAFT 
15. Seal
    • Replace
16. Needle Bearing (polygon bearing)
    • If the flange shaft is difficult to move when it is removed, this is not a fault
    • Acoustical test only when installed
    • Check for damage, for example for cracks on the out race
    • Removing and Installing, refer to RIGHT FLANGE SHAFT NEEDLE BEARING 
17. Needle Bearing (polygon bearing)
    • If the flange shaft is difficult to move when it is removed, this is not a fault
    • Acoustical test only when installed
    • Check for damage, for example for cracks on the out race
    • Removing and Installing, refer to RIGHT FLANGE SHAFT NEEDLE BEARING 
18. Locking Ring
    • Replace

-- Tighten bolts in 3 stages as follows:

1. Install and tighten the bolts -1- hand-tight.
2. Tighten the bolts -2- to 40 Nm.
3. Tighten the bolts -1- to 40 Nm.

-- Tighten bolts in 4 stages as follows:

1. Install bolts -1- and -2- hand tight.
2. Tighten bolts -1- to 3 Nm.
3. Tighten the bolts -2- to 35 Nm.
4. Tighten the bolts -1- to 45 Nm.

-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- to 25 Nm.
