Front Coolant Pipe, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the seals and O-rings.

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory.

-- Clean or smooth out the seals and O-ring sealing surfaces.

-- Coat the sealing rings and O-rings with coolant and then mount them on the coolant pipe.

-- Connect the coolant hose to the coupling. Refer to Figure.

-- Install the coolant pump ribbed belt pulley. Refer to OVERVIEW - COOLANT PUMP AND THERMOSTAT .

-- Install the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the left front coolant pipes. Refer to LEFT FRONT COOLANT PIPES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill with coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
