Oil Pump Overview

- O-Ring
- Replace
- Coat with oil before Installation.
- Oil Check Valve
- Removing and Installing, refer to OIL CHECK VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- O-Ring
- Replace
- Coat with oil before Installation.
- Oil Pump
- Removing and Installing, refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 8 Nm
- Insert using locking compound.
- Bolt
- Use Counterhold - Vibration Damper T10069 on vibration damper to loosen and tighten.
- Replace
- Tightening specification, refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAINS OVERVIEW , -item 14- Bolt.
- Camshaft Timing Chain Sprocket
- Removing and Installing, refer to TIMING MECHANISM DRIVE CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Timing Mechanism Drive Chain Sprocket
- Removing and Installing, refer to TIMING MECHANISM DRIVE CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Oil Spray Jet
- Removing and Installing, refer to Fig 2.
NOTE:
The oil spray jets are installed in crankshaft bearings 2 to 7.
Removal:
-- Press oil spray jet out toward crankshaft bearing with 4 mm diameter drift.
Installation:
-- Press oil spray jet in by hand with 6 mm diameter drift -arrow-.
