Ribbed Belt Drive Overview

- Ribbed Belt
- Check for wear.
- Before Removal, mark the direction of rotation using chalk or a felt-tip pen.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Do not kink.
- When Installation, make sure it is seated correctly on the ribbed belt pulleys.

- Removing and Installing. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- Pay attention to the installed position.

- Replace
- Auxiliary Components Bracket
- Removing and Installing. Refer to LEFT COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt

- Tightening specification: 25 Nm. .
- A/C Compressor
- Do not remove or disconnect refrigerant lines.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET .
- Be careful of the alignment sleeves -item 32- when Installation.

- Quantity: 2
- Make sure the accessory assembly bracket fits correctly.

- Ribbed Belt Tensioning DamperCAUTION:
Depending on the vehicle equipment level, the bracket in the cylinder crankshaft housing for the tensioner can be designed using an M10 or M11 thread. The bolt and the tensioner for the cylinder crankshaft housing must absolutely be perfectly allocated.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- M10 bolt: 50 Nm +90°
- M11 bolt: 60 Nm +90°
- ReplaceCAUTION:
Differing threads in the crankshaft housing.
Before assembling, check whether the thread is an M10 or M11.
Use the proper bolt size. The engine could be damaged.
The bolt and the tensioner for the cylinder crankshaft housing must absolutely be perfectly allocated.
