Left Ribbed Belt Idler Roller, Removing And Installing

Removal

-- Remove the ribbed belt from the tensioner. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Tilt the toothed belt guard forward -arrows- and disengage the pins on the underside of the guard.

NOTE:

The toothed belt guard is shown with the intake manifold upper section removed.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the ribbed belt idler roller.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specification. Refer to RIBBED BELT DRIVE OVERVIEW .

-- Install the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
