Vibration Damper With Ribbed Belt Pulley,

Removing

-- On a vehicle with air suspension, activate vehicle lift mode. Refer to the appropriate service information .

-- Remove the front noise insulation -1-. Refer to the appropriate service information .

-- Counterhold the generator ribbed belt pulley nut with an open end wrench and loosen the bolts -1-.

-- Remove ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT .

-- Remove the bolts and then remove the shim -2- and the vibration damper -3- together with the ribbed belt pulley.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the vibration damper bolts -1- and shim -2-.

Counterhold the generator ribbed belt pulley nut with an open end wrench and with the ribbed belt mounted when tightening the vibration damper bolts.

-- Install the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT .
