Shift Mechanism, Adjusting: Adjusting

-- Open the ashtray.

-- Carefully pry trim from center console -arrows-.

-- Lift trim up over shift knob.

-- Move the shift lever in the neutral position toward the left into the 1st/2nd gear shift gate.

-- Lift the noise insulation plate.

-- Guide the T10027A through hole -A- and into hole -B-.

NOTE:

To improve clarity, the noise insulation is removed in the figure.

-- Completely remove the air filter housing. Refer to [For engine(s) CETA, CCTA] Removal and Installation or to [For engine(s) CBRA] Removal and Installation or to [For engine(s) BPY, CDMA] Removal and Installation .
