- For Engine Speed Sensor -G28-
Shaft Seal
- For the crankshaft on the transmission side
- Removing and installing. Refer to CRANKSHAFT SEAL, REPLACING, TRANSMISSION SIDE .
Lower Timing Chain Cover
- Removing and installing. Refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Alignment Sleeve
- Quantity: 2
Seal
- Replace

- Replace
- Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to Fig 2.
Left Timing Chain Cover
- Removing and installing. Refer to TIMING CHAIN GUARD UPPER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Seal

Right Timing Chain Cover

- Tightening specification. Refer to Tightening Specifications .

NOTE:

Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.

-- Tighten the bolts in five steps in the sequence shown.

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1.	-1, 2, and 3-	Install all the way in by hand.
2.	-4 to 7-	Install all the way in by hand.
3.	-1 to 7-	8 Nm
4.	-1 to 7-	8 Nm - this measurement takes into account the timing chain cover shrinkage.
5.	-1 to 7-	Turn an additional 90°.

-- Tighten the bolts in seven steps as follows:

Steps 1, 2:

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification
1.		Attaching the timing chain guard lower section with the sealant and the sealing pieces to the cylinder block
2.	-1, 2, 3, and 4-	9 Nm

Step: 3 to 6:

3.	-1 to 20-	3 Nm
4.	-1 to 6-	8 Nm
5.	-1 to 6-	Turn an additional 90°.
