Front exhaust system

- 25 Nm
2 - Right-side exhaust manifold
- Removing and installing → Right exhaust manifold, removing and installing
3 - Nut
- 25 Nm
4 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) G39 (before catalytic converter)
- 50 Nm
- For bank 1
- Threads of new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste
- If reusing oxygen sensor, coat thread with hot bolt paste, hot bolt paste
- Assembly paste or hot bolt paste must not get onto slots of sensor body.
- Removing and installing → 24 MULTIPORT FUEL INJECTION (MFI)
5 - Right catalytic converter
- With flex joint
- Decoupling element must not be bent more than 10° otherwise it may be damaged
- Individual components of suspension → Individual components of suspension, right side
- Removing and installing → Catalytic converter with right front muffler, removing and installing
6 - Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) G130
- 50 Nm
- For bank 1
- Threads of new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste
- If reusing oxygen sensor, coat thread with hot bolt paste, hot bolt paste
- Assembly paste or hot bolt paste must not get onto slots of sensor body.
- Removing and installing → 24 MULTIPORT FUEL INJECTION (MFI)
7 - Double clamp
- Installed location → Installation position of front double clamp
- Before tightening, ensure exhaust system is tension-free → Exhaust system, installing free of tension
- Tighten bolts evenly
8 - Right front muffler
- At factory, catalytic converter and front muffler are installed as a single component. For repairs, front muffler is supplied separately, with double clamp for connecting joint.
- Removing and installing → Right front muffler, removing and installing
9 - Nut
- 25 Nm

- 22 Nm

- Individual components of suspension → Components of center bracket
13 - Left front muffler
- At factory, catalytic converter and front muffler are installed as a single component. For repairs, front muffler is supplied separately, with double clamp for connecting joint.
- Removing and installing → Left front muffler, removing and installing
14 - Nut
- 25 Nm
15 - Double clamp
- Installed location → Installation position of front double clamp
- Before tightening, ensure exhaust system is tension-free → Exhaust system, installing free of tension

16 - Left catalytic converter
- With flex joint

20 - Oxygen Sensor (O2S) 2 Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) G131
- 50 Nm
- For bank 2
- Threads of new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste
- If reusing oxygen sensor, coat thread with hot bolt paste, hot bolt paste
- Assembly paste or hot bolt paste must not get onto slots of sensor body.
- Removing and installing → 24 MULTIPORT FUEL INJECTION (MFI)
21 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 G108 (in front of catalytic converter)
- 50 Nm
- For bank 2
- Threads of new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste
- If reusing oxygen sensor, coat thread with hot bolt paste, hot bolt paste
- Assembly paste or hot bolt paste must not get onto slots of sensor body.
- Removing and installing → 24 MULTIPORT FUEL INJECTION (MFI)
