Erase DTC Memory (function 05): Requirements

DTC memory checked. See CHECK DTC MEMORY (FUNCTION 02) .
All malfunctions repaired.

After successful DTC memory check:

Press buttons -0- and -5-. This selects "Erase DTC memory", function 05.

Follow test sequence exactly: first check DTC memory, repair malfunction(s) if necessary, then erase.

DTCs are not updated after erasing DTC memory until after ignition has been switched on and off.
