REMOVAL

Remove the transmission. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Position the (special tool #2024200090, Damper, Rotating Tool) tool (1) on the vibration damper.

Remove the bolts (1a) and the spacer (1b).

1. Remove the engine flexplate (1).

INSTALLATION

Thoroughly clean the flexplate seat and the threaded holes on the engine crankshaft.

Install the engine flexplate (1) in position.

Install the spacer (1a) in position and tighten the bolts (1b) to the proper using the (special tool #2024200090, Damper, Rotating Tool) tool on the vibration damper. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Install the transmission. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
