Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the exhaust resonator. Refer to RESONATOR, EXHAUST, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the bolt (1a), the nut (1b) and the rear bumper lower edge air manifold reinforcement bracket (1c).
  4. Remove the muffler. Refer to MUFFLER, EXHAUST, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  5. Remove the upper clip (1a), the nuts (1b), and the rear exhaust muffler by-pass valve actuator (1c).

  6. Check the integrity of the washer (1a) and of the lower clip (1b).

INSTALLATION 

  1. Refit the rear exhaust muffler by-pass valve actuator, tighten the fixing nuts and engage the upper clip.
  2. Install the muffler. Refer to MUFFLER, EXHAUST, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Install the rear bumper lower edge air manifold reinforcement bracket and securely tighten the bolt and nut.
  4. Install the exhaust resonator. Refer to RESONATOR, EXHAUST, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
