Removing the Steering Wheel

Apply the steering wheel lock when the wheels are pointing straight ahead.

Lock the steering wheel.

Slacken off the nut in the center of the steering wheel slightly.

Unlock the steering wheel. Turn the steering wheel to the horizontal position.

Remove the locking screw (positioned in the plastic strap) from the parking hole in the steering wheel. Turn the steering wheel to its locking position. Lock the contact reel using the locking screw.

Carefully remove the center nut and remove the steering wheel by twisting, pulling and lifting it.
