Installing the Steering Column Assembly

Press the steering column on to the pinion shaft.

Check the installation.

Check that the screw is in the correct position.

Install the screw. Tighten to 17 Nm.

NOTE: Check that the screw is in the correct position.

Position the steering column. Install the four mounting screws. Tighten to 25 Nm.

Check that the steering wheel can be raised and lowered.
