Removing the Ends Of the Ball Joint

Raise the front end of the car.
Remove:
- the right front wheel (only applies to left-hand drive cars)
the left front wheel (only applies to right-hand drive cars)
- the ends of the ball joints for the tie rods from the wheel spindles. See Ball Joint Tie Rod, Protective Bellow Or Tie Rod, Replacing
- the cross stay and the central front-rear member. See Replacing the Cross Member .
