Removing the Windshield: Preparations

Open the hood.

Remove: 

• the cowl according to Plenum chamber 
• the rear view mirror according to The Inner Rear View Mirror
• the roof trim according to Roof trim .
  NOTE: Ensure that the molding is correctly removed. It is important that this is done in order to eliminate any problems when installing.

Remove: 

• the sun visor and brackets
• interior lighting
• the mounting for the headlining at the A-post.
  NOTE: Do not damage any components when removing the headlining mounting with the extra clamp.
