Disassembling the Spring Strut

- Hook the hooks on the tool over as many spring spirals as possible
- Compress the spring by pumping the tool, always ensuring that the spring is correctly positioned in the catches
- Compress the spring until it is released.
HINT: Note the position of the components. This will make installation easier.
- Remove the dust boot
- Remove the nut using special tool 9995500 (socket) and 9995758 .
Remove:
- the spring strut mounting
- the bearing
- the support plate
- the spring
- the stop and the dust boot.
