Assembling the Shock Absorber And Spring

Pull the shock absorber piston out as far as possible.

Install:

the rubber stop and dust boot
the shock absorber through the spring
the upper spring cover. Ensure that it is parallel (maximum 3° deviation) to the shock absorber mounting.

Check that the ends of the spring are completely inside the spring caps.

Install the ring and a new nut. Tighten to 30 Nm (Nivomat shock absorbers: 25 Nm .
