Checking wiring and connectors

Check the connector on boost pressure sensor 1 and the engine control module (ECM). Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .

Check the signal cable between control module terminal #72 and connector terminal #3 on boost pressure sensor 1. Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults

check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults .

Check the power supply cable between connector terminal #2 on boost pressure sensor 1 and control module terminal #74. Check for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults .
