Removing SIPS bags

Preparations

Disconnect the battery ground terminal
Remove the backrest upholstery according to Backrest, replacing .

Bend out and expose the protective pad on the side where the SIPS is located.

Remove:

the two screws for the SIPS bag on the inside of the backrest frame
the tie straps
the steel clip.

Release the connector clip.

Cut off the tie straps.

Disconnect the cable harness.

Replace the SIPS airbag.
