IC (inflatable curtain): Installation

NOTE: If the inflatable curtain module is dropped, it must not be installed.

Install:

the deflector with screw 1 and 2.

NOTE: The deflector on the C/D post must be installed before the inflatable curtain module is installed

Install:

lift in and knock the packaging according to the instructions
clips A and B.

Remove the packaging by pulling it straight downwards.

NOTE: Ensure that no bits of paper remain.

Install:

nuts 1 and 2
clip C.

Hook on the IC (inflatable curtain). Install screw 3.

NOTE: It is very important that the hook is correctly installed.

Install clips A, B, C and D.

Tighten all screws. Tighten to 10 Nm .

CAUTION: When installing the IC (inflatable curtain), part of the decal on the curtain must be ripped off and stuck on the decal in the door opening.
