Install steering wheel

CAUTION: Do not turn the steering wheel when the contact reel is locked as the contact reel pin will break off.

Pull the contact reel cabling through the hole in the steering wheel.

NOTE: Transfer the marking before installing a new steering wheel.

Install:

The steering wheel in the correct position in accordance with the marking.
The steering wheel bolt, hand-tight.
Special tool 9988695 on the connector of the steering wheel module.
Turn the bolt out of the contact reel and turn this in the steering wheel.

Tighten the steering wheel central bolt with 32 ft. lbf.
