Install steering wheel module

CAUTION: Disconnect battery negative lead.

Remove special tool 9988695 .
Turn the ignition key to position I so that the steering wheel lock is disengaged.
Attach the connector to the steering wheel module.
Install the steering wheel module in the steering wheel.
Turn the steering wheel to access the screws. Tighten with 7 ft. lbf.

Check that:

The steering wheel turns easily.
The steering wheel lock functions correctly.
The steering wheel module is properly secured.
