Disconnecting the wiring and the hood latch

NOTE: Only applies to model year 1999- cars.

Remove:

the screw (A) and the hood catch with the mounting
the mounting nut for the fusebox. Let it sink a few centimeters
Disconnect the connectors from the wiring.

NOTE: Only applies to model year 2000- cars.

Remove:

the nut and move the hood catch to one side, away from the support
the screw from the dashboard
the screw from the top of the bracket
the bracket
the connectors from the fusebox.
