Accumulator/Dryer, Installing

When replacing, accumulator/dryer must be filled with 20 cm ³ oil, see Oil Air Conditioning (A/C) System, Filling .

Lube the new O-rings with compressor oil.

Install the dryer with the support and tighten the two nuts finger-tight.

Install the cables in position.

Tightening torque, cable from evaporator to dryer: 10 Nm.

Tightening torque, cable from condenser to dryer: 10 Nm.

Tighten down the dryer support, tightening torque: 10 Nm.

Place the dryer in correct position and tighten the support's clamp with 10 Nm.

Plug in the pressure monitor's connector.
