Installing the longitudinal beam

Install the longitudinal beam and push two bolts (B) into the engine rubbers. Tighten the two bolts. Torque setting 69 Nm .

NOTE: Position the rubbers in the correct position as shown. The rear and front of the center member must be in similar positions.

Slacken off the front-mounting bolster bolt (A). First tighten the rear-mounting bolster bolt (torque setting 55 Nm ), then tighten the front-mounting bolt again (torque setting 55 Nm ).

Install the heatshield.
