Installing drive shaft

Cut off tie straps to stub axle.

Install drive shaft in differential housing.

HINT: Use mobile jack 9985972 as a support under the control arm.

At the same time locate stub axles on spring strut. Install screws loosely. The nuts will be installed later.

Press the drive shaft in firmly so that it locks on to the differential gear. Ensure that the drive shaft circlip is seated in its groove.

Check by pulling carefully on the drive shaft constant velocity joint.

CAUTION: Take care not to damage the sealing ring or boot on the drive shaft.
