Oil, changing: Conditions

Only replace the oil in the following instances:

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) AT-235 is stored if the on-board diagnostic (OBD) system has recorded that oil temperature is too high.
If the oil smells burnt and is discolored and no diagnostic trouble code (DTC) has been stored. For example due to hard and intensive use.
Cars in continuous taxi service and/or used to tow trailers extensively, should have oil changes at 75,000 km service intervals.
