Removing airbag steering wheel module

Disconnect the connector and lift off the steering wheel module.

WARNING:

Under no circumstances use an ohmmeter or other live measuring instrument to take readings on a disconnected, non-deployed airbag module. This could deploy the airbag

WARNING:

The steering wheel module must never be taken apart, repaired or moved to another vehicle. For handling of a replaced module, see Handling replaced SRS airbags / seat belt tensioners .
