Installing the lock mechanism for the tailgate

Transfer the control rod when replacing the lock mechanism.

NOTE: For cars with an emergency opening handle on the inside. Install the cable in the eyelet on the lever. Lock the cable by clamping the eyelet closed.

Install:

the connectors
the lock mechanism
the 3 screws (A). Tighten to 10 Nm
the control rod. Press the pin in.

Check the function.

NOTE: Adjusting the control rod: remove the control rod by the lock. Press the lock cylinder as far to the right as possible so that the control rod can be pulled out as far as possible. Install the control rod on the lock.
